My computer is in computer hospital. It crashed while I was finalizing last week's post, so if that was a mess, I apologize. The plan was to write a post about holidays & memories, and how they play into process. But since I'm trying to get this typed into a clunky device barely holding on, I'll make it short & sweet, and apologize for any mistakes.
I just went through the same thing with my computer last week. Unfortunate intersection of cat, tea, and laptop! I didn't welcome the enforced pause to my writing and other online life, but at the end of the day it was very useful and I had time to realize some important things. Like how much I was playing online solitaire in order to numb out anxiety, for example! By the time I got it back I'd made some decisions about going forward with both my blog and my Substack as well as my somewhat dubious coping strategy of solitaire. I hope your pause brings unexpected gifts as well and your machine is discharged from care soon! I also celebrate Yule. The light returns. May it shine upon you and show you the way forward.
